Lake Fenton Bluegills

Went out on Lake Fenton Sunday and got into a quiet canal away from all the party boats. We caught a bunch of huge gills, 7 or 8 of them weighing more than 12 oz, around 10-11 inches long. Big ones are definitely getting ready to spawn or are spawning.

Water temp was 72 degrees in that cut.

Been tough to find gills like that in there the last few years. Seems like they have stunted there.
