Long story short caught my limit and stayed for some catch and release fun.water temp is hovering around 49-51 is lots of smelt and shiners around all the docks at twilight.hot bait was that crackle frog again and my latest paint creation i call the smelt mcmuffin(looks like supermans vomit!)lol.

Nice. I guess I need to learn how to handline. Have the reels and the boat, just gotta get it set up.

Good to see you again Hoover. After you made your last pass past me and headed back to the ramp I caught the 25½" fish on the right. Thought I had a world record Walleye till I got it up to the boat and found I had about a 23" one on aslo.:yikes: Two fish one net, lines tangled up like I've never seen before. I was able to get them both in one swoop of the net. I think I took the tonsils out on the big one, it had almost swallowed the crackled frog. Caught the other one on Orange with Black spots. That wind kicked up and got down right chilly after you left also......

That's what's nice about stacking them. Unless they get tangled up you only have to deal with one fish at a time when you get a double.

Nice to see ya out their also mr b. Good job on the double Bob i havent had one yet this year and never got one with two fish above twenty plus! That must have been fun.I had a hell of a time at the steep ramp at marysville with that wind and my boat, it doesnt like to sit level so i usually rock it into place buy hand three times in a row I got in the cab to then see the boat was sideways from waves and wind !

Went back out for an hour, the youngest was cold and wet, the 11 year old wanted to stay out though, here is her first Walleye
