Do they charge for using the ramp in the summer? I doubt anyone will be there to ask when I would launch.

Thanks in advance.

Harry

Thanks Joe,

Gave em a ring and they said there were cars in the lot and it was OK to launch. I'll be playin around in the canals in the area.

I hope not. Cleared all my cookies and now I can't stay logged in for more than 5 minutes. Then all the hunting forums come up every time too(I don't hunt and normally they are collapsed)

If there is anything to post I will put it up when I get home.

Just got back, took some very nice gills(biggest a little under 10")before the sun came out and it slowed noticably after that. Got a couple crappies too, not much size to them. Canal was full of mating gars, some carp working too.

Did best dritf/rowing down the canal til I hit a nice fish, then camps on them til the bite slows. Today they liked the jigs better than plain hooks, little activity on minnows. Crappies came on worms too. Top 2 FOW had the nicer fish, run deeper and they were smaller. Most of the fish were gills, just a few pumpkinseeds. Lots of bass followed small gills to the boat, even got hit by a good pike right at the boat, but he dropped the gill.

Felt good to be on the water again, stayed dry this time:rolleyes:
