Where to go?

I've been put in charge of destination for the May 2010 trip. That being said, I'm done fishing the muddy resevoirs of central IL. Since I do all of my other fishing in the rivers of Mich. I figured I'd try to get a place in Mich. for the trip. What I'm looking for is a lake in southwest MI with boat rental and lodging for 6. Decent fishing is, of course, a requirement. I don't mean to pry for anyone's honeyhole, but looking online shows me that there are about 18 million lakes in the region and sorting through the info is a bit tedious. Thanks alot

In SE Michigan you could try Lake St Clair. Jimmy Bait and boats is on the lake with very simple boats for rental.

I would think somwhere like gun lake or white lake ottowa county or pentwater lake would fit the bill. Just a few suggestions.
