Need a couple of good places to fish

Hi, I am in need of a couple good places to fish in the grand rapids area where I can fish from shore. I will travel up to an hour and I have no boat. Also a place where there is more than just a small area to fish from. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks

Theres always the gravel ponds. Try versluis on the north side of g.r. or millenium park. My favorite fishing from shore can be had at grand river in many areas, most popular being 6th st.
