Finally Pulled A limit - Pic

I had a buddy take me out on the dreaded river that has seemed to haunt me ever since the freighter adventure 3 years ago and I finally pulled a nice limit.

I almost hate to ask but what was the freighter adventure?

Blue water classic, 6 in the morning had a real nice catch on Sat and heading back out on Sun. in 12 place (perfect stricking distance) and the boat blew up just North of the Blue Water bridge, threw anchor but by the time it caught we were 1/2 mile south of the bridge right in the shipping channel.

Tow U.S. had to come ($250) get us as a freightor was rounding the bend, had to cut my anchor ($200) to the bottom just in time for the tow to yank us out of the way of becoming the next days headlines.

That is the extremely short version, lets just say it was the weekend from hell.

That is the main reason I always have my kicker motor on the boat. Left it home once and had a very uneasy time on the water. That must have been one hell of an expierence.
