Her dad lives next to a large blueberry farm. The owners of the farm decided to fill in two spots along a deep revine to create a small pond/lake (about 2 acres) to use for irrigation.
I caught a nice 3.5 pounder on my very first cast, and about 20 minutes later she dragged this in to show me up...

Still trying to teach her how to use the shoreline, and move instead of sitting in one spot.
We were using "The Worm", which is my favorite lure to use. We go through tons of them on our lakes up north, and they didn't have any less luck here!
