LSC Muskies Inc. Thurs 5/21 - DNR, Macomb Co. Sheriff, Border Patrol - all welcome!

The Lake St. Clair chapter of Muskies Inc. (LSCMI) is meeting Thursday, May 21 at 6:30 pm at The Sports Channel / Harbor Lanes (10 Mile & Jefferson) in St. Clair Shores, on the lounge area of the bowling alley side.

We have the DNR and Macomb County Sheriff Marine Division attending as guest speakers. Also, we now have a representative from the U.S. Border patrol coming that night. With changes in the rules and regulations in all three areas this year, we are very pleased that we will have the expertise available for questions.

As usual, there will be lots of musky fishers in attendance with lots of good info and tips for beginners and experienced fishers alike.

All are welcome, not just musky fishers.

LSCMI has many other events coming up, including its 1st annual season opener catch and release tournament, our 2nd annual Kids Fishing Day (last year was a great time for all), and a mid-summer meeting on the lake, actually fishing for muskies!

Muskies Inc. is an organization dedicated to musky fishing and conservation, with chapters throughout the US and Canada.

Just to let you know, the LSCWA meeting is tomorrow as well @ 7pm.......:confused:

Odd. All the previous LSCWA meetings I knew of were on Wednesdays.

Our meetings have been consistent 3d Thursdays of the month this year.

A lot of our musky hunters are also walleye fishers. Some of us, myself included, have attended some LSCWA meetings this year. Not this month, evidently.

Gino's already had an event scheduled for May 20 before we, the LSCWA, moved there this Feb. So we postponed our meeting one day for this month only.

All other LSCWA meetings will be on the third Wed of the month.

Thanks for the info. I figured there must have been something along those lines happening. We chose third Thursdays in part not to conflict with LSCWA or MOMC, both of which we have members who are interested and/or involved in.

While I'm here I may as well mention we'll be making final plans for our musky opener tournament (including setting up some teams, no doubt) and should have the Kids' Fishing Day details set, and there will be plenty of info regarding getting geared up and ready for this year's LSC musky season. :fish::fish:
