Had a 7 boat tourney there sunday in all that wind. (Catch and release) In our 11 years of tourneys it was our biggest total ever as a tgroup.... ie most total inches off all boats added up.
One smalley 20-1/2, probably 5 largies over 19". My son is 11 years old and limited out quickly. He had a 19-3/4 LM and an 18" LM. As a group we caught fish in many places. The fills, good weedbeds, and shallow flats. Bass were not bedding, but were hanging around ready to. We used Soft plastics, don't waste your time with the hardbaits, in my opinion. Once we limited out we threw other hardbaits and got skunked.
