Well, Me, pops and a buddy of his hit the river this morn. Bad wind blowing so we drug harness'. One boat we talked to had 6 in the box when we showed up and they managed 2 more by the time they left. One other guy jigging said he pulled a limit yesterday and ended up with 2 today. We ended up with 6 walleye between 1 1/2 lbs up to 6 lbs and I yanked a real nice cat hovering at 15 lbs. Kind of hoping it was a salmon, but, whatever. We gave that to the boat that had 6 in the box. Couldn't capitalize on about four hits (not too happy bout that) but it was a nice day and great to get on the water. Haven't been fishing since last ice and was much needed. Got them all south of the salt plant in close. My producer was gold and silver. Now that I have the rust knocked off, I'm ready to fill the freezer baby!:D

Nice job on the fish Jim.;)
TinMarine thanks for the catfish. We had an awesome day on the river. We pulled a 4 man limit between our boat and my uncles before we decided to try some different presentations. All fish were very nice size including a 7lber. One ounze bb with a combination of chrome and white blades was the answer. I look forward to seeing you on the river soon. We might give it a go again in the morning. I am trying to post a couple of pictures.

That was you huh? Man, we were commenting on that stratos of yours. Nice rig man, glad you did good. So heading to marine city was a good move? That was my old man's boat, don't be surprised if someone in a 22' walk with a straight inboard waves at ya, that'll be my ride. Hopefully I'll have the name on it soon.
Hey Jim thanks again! I'm sure I'll see you again, we fish the river pretty hard. We went to marine city in search of some lunkers. The white caps weren't worth the hot fishing whe left. We'll see ya soon.
Slick fishing
