LSCWA May Meeting

This Thursday, May 21st, the Lake St Clair Walleye Association will have two guest speakers at our meeting.

Steve Hewhitt will be the first guest speaker. Steve is from the Lake Erie watershed division of the DNR, which includes the St Clair River, Lake St Clair, the Detroit River and Lake Erie. He will be giving a 20 minute Power Point presentation addressing how the state budget cutbacks will be affecting the DNR. He will also be taking questions after wards about the cutbacks.

Our second guest speaker will be Capt. Paul Doute from the down river area. Paul is a licensed charter captain, DWF board member and part of the Walleye 101 staff. Paul will be sharing his expertise on fishing the Detroit River and Lake Erie with us.

Our meetings are held at Gino’s Surf in Harrison Township, at 7:30pm.

The LSCWA Web site says meetings are on the third Wed of every month. This post says the meeting is Thursday.. So which is it? Just want to make sure I show up on the right day.. Thanks.

Correct, this months meeting was rescheduled for Thursday May 21st, because Gino's booked an event before we moved there.

All other LSCWA meetings will be on the third Wed of the month, except Nov, when we do not schedule a meeting because of deer season.
