Creme Scoundrel 6" rigged worm, when the wind allows the casting of a lighter bait like that.
Any random small spinnerbait is fine too.

For me it's whatever puts fish in the boat!
But if I had to pick just one? A Senko. Or Sexyshad One Knocker. Or a gold/black Husky Jerk. Or just about anything on my drop shot rod.

my favorite way to catch bass is a buzzbait or 10" power worm under 1oz of tungsten. Not always the presentation de jour, but my favorites when they are.
After that, my longtime goto bait is a t-rigged beaver.
1) Anything on a fly rod.
2) Anything on top.
3) Spinnerbait.
I hate, absolutely detest and pretty much don't care for dragging tubes ALA the LSC smallie bite, but thankfully, the venerable jig-n-worm works as well or better for me.

Fishous makes a blue pearl sinko worm that I just love. They make a lot of colors that i like that I haven't found anywhere else.

I would probably say I would have to go old school and run a heddon sonic. I have found nothing to compete in clear water and also in the shallows.

Love the suface action, wacky, froggy popper, shallow diving crank, buzz bait.....there is one missing I am sure.
You guys fish with beavers ? That is your problem.... you fish FOR beavers.

Favorite is a jitterbug ... when they'll hit it.
Most consistent have been the Rebel deep crawfish for smallies, Rat-L-Trap for largemouths.

I would have to say that I have three favorites.
For active feeding fish (morning, evening) - A Rapala crank bait to match the depth and weed conditions I am fishing.
For less active fish in weeds or on structure - Senko or tube bait.
This three bait combination will catch fish all day long - all year long. I rarely use anything else anymore.

My favorite bass bite, is a sparo frog in scum or pads. It's a very exciting way to fish and usually produces some quality fish. My most productive is a texas rigged grub.
