DIRECTIONS TO DURAND SPORTSMANˇ¦S CLUB
. Get onto the east/west portion of I-69 which runs between Lansing and Port Huron.
. Take the Durand exit, which is about midway between Lansing and Flint, Approx. 25 Mi. from Lansing
. You are exiting onto Monroe Rd. which angles into Durand and ends on Durand Rd.
. You are in town at this point and Durand road may have a city street name, but Monroe ends onto it at an angle so you'll know it's the right one.
. Turn right and go south on it.
. About 2 Mi. south of town you will cross Prior Rd.
. Turn left on Prior and travel east for less than a mile, perhaps less than a half mile.
. The club is on the left and there is a sign.
. Be alert, the sign is small and the drive is a 2 track.
TO CONTINUE ON TO THE CAMPGROUND
. Keep traveling south on Durand Rd.
. You will cross Cole Rd.
. Turn right on Cole Rd. and travel west to Reed Rd. which "T" corners in from the south.
. Turn left and travel south.
. Reed Rd. makes a 90 degree curve and just a few hundred feet past the curve you will see the campground on the right.
. You will need to check in at the Office. If you are staying, you will be given a security card to operate the gate with. If you are a guest, I think someone has to come get you, or maybe they let you in. ? ? ? ?
NOTES
You can get maps from http://maps.yahoo.com/ The campground is on Lehring Rd. and the Club is on Prior Rd and both are Durand locations. For address enter Prior Rd. and for city/state its Durand, Mi. and you will find the approx. club location, Same for the Camp but its Lehring Rd. The Camp address shows up in the wrong place on Lehring rd and I don't remember the address of the club, so just using the rd and city/state names will get you close enough to cruise and seek.
See ya on the 5th,
