Here's the Story. So far I have not received any mail with confirmation comments or cash.

I will be camping in the vicinity of the Durand Sportsman's Club, on thursday night, and friday night the 3rd and 4th of august, and will be at the club for some kind of outing if any money comes in for the food, and if any commitments come in that folks will attend. I am certain Stalker, and Hunter 333 and Trout will be there becuase they have all volunteered to help. If no one else attends, there won't be a need to use the club grounds. We can just meet at the campgrounds and have some tall tales and good food among ourselves. I certainly hope that there is a greater interest than I have seen.

There hasn't been much physical effort gone forth so far, so its no big loss, but I, for one, have been looking forward to this for quite a few weeks and am a little disapointed at this point. But as I said before, I am going to go camping that weekend either way, so join me if you wish.

All plans are still on if I get some response.

I AM IN!!! I guaranteedamntee it!! reservations made, wife looking forward to it. I was hoping that more of the 475 members would be there but what can you do? SARGE, I am sorry for not sending the money, it will be sent FRIDAY!! If all else fails, we can eat some good food, tell some stories, and plan for next year. I would really like to do some shooting if at all possible, I have never shot skeet before. Sarge, you have the shirts for prizes, the rest of us already have our shirts from Steve. I look forward to meeting you all!!

The club is expecting us and I am sure they let outsiders shoot for the $3 fee on saturdays anyway. I have shot at clays with friends once, so no expert here. Be glad to see ya.

Oh if no one knows yet I am the the BIG guy with white hair. not tall 300 pounder. Kids often mistake me for Santa, since I also have a white beard.

Hi - I think that I would like to attend. I probably would only be able to show up for the Saturday events, but would like to meet you all. Anybody bringing a bow? I'd appreciate it if someone could please e-mail me the info. Thanks ...

Watch the Michigan-Sportsman outing forum very carefully and I'll put it out. I think its already there somewhere I'll hunt it up and post it again. I need to do that anyway. Yahoo maps and others have it right down to the 1/4 mile. Anyway its 11; PM and I will be gone tomorrow and saturday. Sunday evening I will put out the schedule again. I don't think it is going to be like we initially intended due to poor response, but whatever does happen will surely be a hoot.

Yes, it will be a hoot!! We have to start somewhere so it might as well be now. Besides, it leaves more food for us :)

I hope the directions are adequate. As it stands right now, I don't really know how to handle the breakfast. Hunter is still planning on cooking I hope, and I'll bring food, but I don't know how much. I'm sure once everyone has eaten I can convince them to pay me. It's too late to mail any money now. Anyway Wednsday evening I will make a final post in the "story" topic, and those who get the word do, those who miss it will be listening to the stories for months, and kicking themselves.

The directions are on the "directions to outing" topic.

Breakfast doesn't have to be at 8:00 am. Let me know if you want to change it. Tomorrow nite will be the final post to make changes on.

By the way, if anyone is coming past Battle Creek, contact Moe and see if you can help him with a ride.
