Hi guys Im not familiar with the detroit river or where to launch at, and information would be greatly appreciated I would be coming from harrison town ship so the closer the better. thanks for the help and good fishing to all -Tom:fish:

It depends on boat size, but St. Jeans Launch is one of the most popular.

Occasionally I launch at Blossom Heath and make the cruise down to the river.
Not a bad ride if the waves ain't crashin'.

Also a small launch at the end of Alter Rd... I personally don't use that one, but I've heard it's great for smaller boats.

Ecorse or Wyandotte boat ramps are about mid river. You can cover alot of water north or south from the launches.

Go to where the Southfield fwy ends at jefferson, go south a few miles. Just before you go over the ecorse river is the Ecorse launch, go another 3/4 mile south the famous wyandotte lauch is behind the speedboat bar...andy

put in wyandotte go to waste treatment plant 34' there in there thick killed em tonight brown worm white 3/4 football head be there in the am:fish::fish:

I grew up in harrison twp. The closest launch by far is the launch at the end of Alter rd. Just get off at the outer drive/ chalmers exit on 94 and take it all the way to the end. Thelaunch is on your right after the road curves at the end.
