Was up north over the weekend and stopped at most of the shops
to pick up some materials and I came up with this Hex Spinner. Any and
all critique welcome!!

It's kind of hard to tell by the picture but that looks just like a pattern my wife and I have been tying for a few years. Works like a charm. You can tie in a real small glow post between the wings to help identify which fly is yours on the water during massive spinner falls.

1.. Man I hate my camera and 2... its so dang hard trying to come up with new patterns :lol: its similar to ALOT of Hex patterns out there :lol:
only thing i did different is use moose mane for the tail and ginger and grizzly for the front hackle ;)

Yeah, well use the moose main for the tail. Sometime it break though. But we have used ginger and white for hackle.....couldn't see the grizzly.;)

sorry troutlord... I had forgot about that deal we had.

now about that picture... do you have the flash on? It looks like the flash my be washing out the photo

Yeah the flash was one. Next time I will try 1 without the flash!!

turn that flash off and pump some light at it... you'll be amazed the detail it will bring out
