Fishing was really good today with some great signs of things to come... we had 12 ho's 3 kings at 13, 10, and 5, and a steely. Lost a bunch of ho's behind the boat. We had some dry spells but hit pods of fish that would keep us busy for 20 minutes at a time. Mostly 15-25fow but a few to 35. We fished 45-65 fow for about two hours without a bump so we went back in and started hitting fish again. The best part of the trip was reeling in lines with alewives stuck to em'!!! Its been a few years since I've caught a spring alewive in the Joe...hopefully they keep on coming! Time to clean some fish and fire up the bbq!

Nice job on the fish!! It sure is nice seeing and hearing about all the bait!! Sounds like we are gonna have some 20+ lb fish later this summer!!
