As some of you know, we bought a 200 sea ray.:D She needs a good bath & a nice wax before I take her out. Can you suggest some cleaners for water lines, mildewed seats & some carpet? Wax products, etc My last boat didnt need the attention this one needs, and we trailered that one, so keeping her clean was a breeze. Thanks for any info, I appreciate it:) I will post pics when she's all cleaned up;)
Thanks all,
Lisa

A good hull cleaner is On Off. BUT, you have to becareful with it!!!!! It is an acid and you have to protect the trailer, and yourself. Wear a mask and gloves and safety glasses. All you need to do is brush it on with a boat brush and a long pole and rinse. That's it. It works that quick. As far as the mildew, try Mary Kate mildew cleaner and a Mr Clean sponge. The wax, is going to take some time. Get some 3M Finesse it II and wheel it out. That should bring a nice luster to it, BUT, you have to make sure you use alot of buffing pads for the buffer. If there is oxidation, it will clog the pad and you'll just be wasting time. Lots of buffer pads!!!!! After that, I have always had good luck with Mequiar's flagship premium marine wax. I always like to give it about 5 coats of wax a year, but that's just me. Can't help out with the carpet. Don't have it, won't have it. It's gel coat for me:D.
Have fun.
