My father in law gave me an older Craftsman tractor when I moved into my new house. I took it into weingartz to get tuned up and here is what they came back with:

needs tune up
needs tire tubes
adjust clutch
missing heat shield
bent axle

I\'m not the type of guy to be able to fix that or even pretend I can fix that. I needed to get the lawn cut so I bought a new mower and now I have two. I was told the engine was strong but to pay them to put in all that stuff would be about 300ish. I figured I\'d just buy a new one as I had a friend getting rid of a newer mower. sold pending pick up....guess I shoulda asked for more money. Put it on craigslist and got over 20 emails in 12 hours

I'm sure you shoulda asked for more but getting 20 emails from a craigslist ad doesn't mean much.
I got a bunch of emails about something I was giving away FREE and it's still sitting here.

Don't know all the details of your tractor (would need model #), but I'm sure it wouldn't have taken all that Weingartz said to get it functional.
