Trolling Motor Battery

I have a 12v 55# thrust Minn Kota behind a OLD Trolling Thunder battery.
I'm going to replace the old Trolling Thunder (which was a great battery at the time).
Any suggestions?

I have an Interstate on my 55# Minn Kota Maxuum. Works great. My starter/depth finder/lights battery is a Walmart brand. Over the winter it (the Walmart battery) lost zero charge and read 100% fully charged when I reinstalled it, while the Interstate lost 40%. I will likely buy all my new batteries at Walmart.

I've had good luck with Minn Kota Deep Cycles (I think they are made by Trojan). C-man

Any battery you get, the life of it is rated in Ah or Amp Hours. You can always compare with that..
