For some reason this one has always given me a problem tying, but I think I got it. Let me know what you think.

Thinner ribbing in the back and tie it in black!:evil: Just kidding Mark, helluva nice looking fly. I didnt know that you tie.

Ok, sorry getting old and that ws a long time ago. Kaufman stone pattern if Im correct?

Correct.
I tie other stones but this one has always given me a problem.
I tie them on a # 6 -10 hook with dark brown possum. I like the possum dubbing for this pattern. I think its easier to pic out.
And yes it was a long time ago, about 5 years. you guys gave me some materials, hooks and a book of patterns. you showed me how to tie a woolly bugger, and some Estes Eggs. And I've been tying since.

I would use maybe copper wire for the ribbing. Take that baby to the river and FISH IT!!!.:hide::whistle:

Just answered my own question with reading the other posts here. Got ahead of myself.
I've tied this with a multicolor/black dubbing before.... can't tell if that is what you used..... but these work REALLY well.
