Has anybody tried early Spring shallow water whitefish on a flyrod? I'm going to be in the neigborhood of a popular zone 2 lake with a decent whitefish population (you can probably guess which one) and am thinking about wading the flats with a flyrod to see what I can do.
Just looking for some tips or whether you guys think it's even worth the effort.
