Grand River Between The Beltline and Riverside park

Does anyone know how deep the water on the grand is between the beltline and riverside park. I am also looking for information on the launch on the grand around west river drive and the east beltline. I would like to try and fish around the mouth of the Rogue with my 17 foot fisher. But, I do not know anything about the water depth in that area.

Any help would be appreciated.

right now its pretty deep. you can launch at the GrandRogue launch which is right off of west river. about 400yds west of beltline intersection.

spring time water levels are usually in th 5-6' range with some deeper holes. less than that in the summer, but still passable.

It is pretty shallow directly west of the ramp if you try to go straight to the mouth of the rogue.. instead go straight out to the main river channel and around to the west side of the island.

Thanks. I saw a couple big bass boats out there this weekend and though maybe I would give it a try. You never know I may find a few stealhead in there still.

More than do-able in your boat right now. Later when the water is lower you want to stay towards the south side of the river as you go downstream... for the most part. Best thing to do would be to drive it very slowly the first time... if you have a gps keep an eye on your breadcrumb trail on your way back up stream.

it was high and muddy on sunday. we tried for steel but no takers. i saw fish going up the ladder on friday so i know they are in there, think the water was just too dirty.
