Got an offer to go down to Trenton tomorrow m. aRE THEY CATCHING ANY jIGGING?


aNY ADVISE WOULD BE APPRECIted. I get down there every year and toss my jiggs to the River gods. LOL

Instead of bouncing the jig off the bottom, just try and tick the bottom every so often to make sure the bottom is still there. Lot less chance of snagging. Staying perfectly vertical also helps.

fish r there, saw three 9 lb fish caught on the 4-2.average was two per boat , some more some less. Jig & shiner. approx 50 boats

:yeahthat: and when you do get hung up, get that line tight and snap it a few times, and theres a good chance you will get it back!

Use a heavier jig (1oz.) so it's easier to find bottom. The fish don't care.

I advise you to go give it a try. Can't catch them sitting at home.

don't be afraid to try it in tight, 4 out of the 8 we got there yesterday came in 3 to 4 ft. of water, seen quite a few others taking fish in there. oh yeah, hang on tight, they are on the surface soon as yeah set the hook!!!:yikes:
