Tie in the small copper wire ribbing and Medallion sheeting or treated hackle then any lead added to shank of hook.

Here we dub the tappered abdomen. I use any brown junk dubbing to build up the under body before applying the dubbing I want to be seen.

Here we fold over the treated hackle and add small round rubber gills as the copper wire is palmered forward. The wire holds the rubber gills on. I leave the rubber gills long and trim to size after the fly is done.

Now fold the hackle back over towards the hook point and tie it down. Next tie in the Brahma hen feather and dub the thorax. Here You can see the junk light brown dubbing I used for the underbody. Biot antennas are also added at this step of the fly.

Fold the feather over the dubbed thorax, tie down and bring the treated hackle over to form the top of the thorax.

Here we fold the treated hackle feather back towards the hook point tie down and dub the head before again folding the hackle forward and tying it off right behind the antennas.
