Not sure if this is the correct 'title' for this thread or not. I was on the PM this past weekend, and was doing some bank fishing. I inadvertantly walked right into some private property that was not posted. I did not feel good about doing this, becasue I do respect others property. What I am wondering is if anyone can tell me if there is/is not areas where one can walk along the bank instead of walking in the water. Becasue I do not know the 'exact' spot I was at, I was between Custer & Wallhalla. Is their a diffrence between Northside vs. Southside? None the less, I am going to do some poking around and see if I can find a plot or something, but thought I would start here.

Do a google search...type in Pere Marquette River map...

It will provide you with a couple good links that offer decent maps. Keep in mind that the shaded areas that you will see on these maps are estimates of public boundaries. You'll have to dig a little deeper to get more detailed maps of the area showing private property lines. Good luck. If you can stay in the river, you're good to go if you feel you're on private land.
