Fish in Lakeville Lake?

I am planning on getting out on Lakeville Lake. I have never been there before. Has anyone ever fished it. If so what did you catch and any suggestion for helping a father with 3 boys?

theres a variety of fish there. bass, gills , crappie , and my fav some monster carp. i know a lot of folks aren't into carp, but let a kid catch a 15 or 20 pounder,,, and its the same as a blue fin tuna to them.

i havent fished there in a while but bass, pike, carp, gills...... the basic fish are in there. :fish:
