the same reason i don't have his jersey or any other hossa fan fair... im not buying anything or having anything to do w/ him until he signs long term this summer... until then, im not jinxing it and im not going to buy into it and get my hopes up just to have him leave in the off season, since i consider him a rental... until he signs, then im all over it:lol:

I know I gave my Dad 2 last year I bought on E-Bay along with a few others. He will be home Saturday so I will see if he wants to part with one. If so...I will mail it to you.((If they are not all in Cedarville))
He has sworn by those reels for pike as long as I can remember.

Thats a good point. I hated him for being a rental last year in Pitt, now I love him. Funny how that works.

I have a zebco at home that I bought to build for a CAD project but never use, not sure if it's an 808 though. Next time I go home I will check and let you know.

I totally understand the Hossa comments.
Just one thing: Downey?
He's brutal. The wings dont have a tough guy - McCarty wont fight anymore/always injured and Downey plain can't fight. The long fight he had that everyone got excited about, he threw 3,420 punches, 2 of which landed. You might as well put Maltby's visor on there too.
And to top off the thread hi-jack: Bench Osgood! :D

as far as my love for downey... it goes well beyond that hes a fighter... hes a big part of the atmosphere on the wings bench and in the locker room. many players for many teams have said when hes on your team you play better, and more confident hockey. hes a very good team person. i love his style.
