Is any one still getting out on Hubbard I know this is the time of year to hammer the hogs. I am willing to walk if the ice is to bad to ride on.

With the rain/snow mix we had last night up here and it being in the 40's, I would trust it at all.

thats one thing i miss about the older days i lived up there. we could go to the west shore tavern get a buzz, play pool and bet on which idiot would fall threw the ice next looking for perch:dizzy: then a short drive down the road stop off at smokeys have couple more, get out the binocks and see who wins. we had lots of draws but we saw a ton go threw the shore ice, lots of dummies.

STAY OFF THE ICE !! There's nothing up here that's safe. Get the boat ready.......
I haven't been down by the lake in a few days. Last time it was completely black. If this wind gets up under it, it'll be all gone soon.
