Interested in buying some largemouth bass planting stock. Does anyone know anyone that sells them in either Wayne, Washtenaw, Jackson, Lenawee or Hillsdale counties?

You could try the Imlay City Fish Farm. Ask for Don Sisson. I had used them before for other species.

Thanks for the suggestion, Pete, but I wouldn't drive out to Imlay CATCH the world record largemouth, let alone buy planting stock.
Unless he offers free delivery.;)

These guys schedule themselves to be in certain areas of the state usually 2-3 times a year, you may want to call them and see where they will be at.

Spoke to Jim Knutson today, they're a no-go.
Farley's hasn't returned my calls.
Square one.

I have never heard of anyone actually buying l.m. bass. They are so easy to catch that usually you find someone with a private pond close by and catch all that you need.
Just gotta be someone from this site or one of your neighbors with a nearby pond.
