They were not going today, but the past two days in Clinton township we have been pretty productive. Mostly white's and few reds here and there!

Nice fish. I'm not trying to start anything, but I don't think you can get a master angler patch for a fish that isn't in season. Still a great fish, Congrats.

Mike

First, we don't care, he caught a MASTER ANGLER FISH. Second, it is open season in certain waters (Detroit River), Third, I'm putting this picture on the wall so big he won't see a patch .

Last years winner, March 9th Kalamazoo river?? http://www.michigandnr.com/MasterAngler/MasterAngler.asp

Just in case lets clear a few questions that always come up when a picture is posted on MS: :lol::lol::lol:

1. He does not need a license because he is 11 years old.
2. He does not need to be wearing hunter's orange in the picture.
3. The pole WAS UNLOADED when we took the picture.
4. The photo was taken during legal hunting hours.
5. We did let him walk because QDM would want us to.
6. We were not trespassing.
7. I'm sad to say, we did take him over bait.
8. We had a Doe permit for this lady! The tag IS there, just can't see it!

Just having fun!!
