Just wondering, not asking for hot spots. I haven't seen alot of post, it would seem that there are early perchers after the ice. Or are they (perch) gone. Honestly, I do not know at this time!! A little help or advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

Actually anywhere the iceguys were fishing should be good. Salt river, Barraks, A marker will be stocked with sunfish, crappies, perch, and gills. Use ice fishing jigs tipped with a piece of crawler or waxie or leaf worm. We are gonna do a shakedown run and we are going to bring the light gear to try it out. get out there ...its a great place to be. ;)

I too have not seen much for perch reports. I did read some Harsens reports that said no good. I would try it by boat if the weather would cooperate a little and be somewhat nice. Maybe soon for me.

I made the run over to Canada the wekend before last and the water was pretty much mud. The few areas that were fishable were not holding fish. I put close to 50 miles on the boat with very marginal results. I think I'll fish the river for Walleye until post spawn. :(

I fished Harsens on Tuesday and Saturday of last week. Tuesday the few fish I cuaght were nice but few and far between. Got the fish Tuesday on minnows. Saturday the fishing was steady through the late morning but they wouldn,t touch a minnow. Everything I caught was on a ice jig and a single spike. All small fish. Don,t know if they are done or just starting on Harsens.
