14' Aluminum 28 hp Evirude console steer for sale

My girlfriends boss has this boat for sale. $1000 takes it. Garmin 160 color graph. Evinrude 28 hp, console steer, trailer is in great shape, boat is in great shape, motor ran well last time it was used.

This is all I know about the boat. If you want more information let me know and I'll make a phone call or two. I know this guy and if he says it's in great shape, chances are it is.

OK, he dropped a few pictures off at work today. I will try to scan them when I get home tonight.

This is a nice looking boat. 14' Starcraft. 1973 I believe. Motor is not nearly that old... late 80's or early 90's is our best guess without the serial number. Floor was replaced about 6-7 years ago and is still good. He put a new trolling motor on it in 2006. 40 lb Terova I believe. This is NOT included with the boat but can be added for $200 (a $400 motor). It is green in color and has hardly a scratch on it. This guy takes care of his stuff (notice the motorhome in the background of the pics when I put them up). Tires are good. Bearings are good. Garmin 160 color graph included. Motor has been fogged and fuel tank emptied (no old gas to deal with). If I had $1200 and needed a boat I'd look at this one for sure.

Defitinitly worth the 1200 you should see what kind of junk people try to sell for 1200 on craigslist. Who ever is getting this is getting a good deal.

You are going to like it. I have the same only a tad bigger. I took out the console and replaced the POS merc with a 40hp Johnson tiller. I have three seats in it and it catches fish. Great little boat. Good luck.

We got her home yesterday. Sorry I didn't get to my email until we got home Waterfoul. She's a bit more scratched up then I thought, but for an old boat she will do well for us. My husband likes her so that is all that matters. Now we just have to test her out...Looks like Sat and Sun will be nice here...lol

Backed her in the local lake to test the motor. She started right up. Now they are calling for snow....go figure....lol
