Changing user id

When I regisgtered several years ago I mistakenly used my e-mail address instead. I haven't posted at all over the years because I didn't want my e-mail to be displayed to all. Is it possible to change my user id to one I was originally planning?

current user-id: stormsearch@comcast.net
preferred user-id: stormsearch

Just reregister under the name you originally wanted, we will get rid of this one.

HMMM I honestly don;t know if you have to wait at all. I do know when Steve gets involved there will be no wait, but you may have to wait a couple days for his return.
