Hello Gents,

We are landowners in Livingston county. I have heard from various sources that eastern wild turkey relocation to certain landowners properties can be performed. I think this is done through cooperation with the local DNR and the local NWTF chapter.

Does anyone have any additional information about how I can coordinate this relocation effort? We think that our property, and its surrounding area, can support a few healthy birds.

Thanks in advance,
RUPP

Your best bet would be to contact the District Biologist in your area to see if there is anything in the future planned for relocation.

Thanks gentlemen,

Bronc. Yes the turks are near, maybe under 15 miles from me. I think it would be excellent to have them even closer. We have the habitat here, big roosting trees, a turkey guzzler, grassy open areas and we do food plots every year.

I'll try the local DNR District office. I'll let you guys know how things go.

Thanks,
RUPP
