My son and I just returned home from the SCR. Fished from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm caught a sucker jigging that was it. Tried Jigging for Walleye and trolling for Salmon. Nothing. Only saw two fish on the graph and the water temp was 36 deg all the way up to a mile south of the power plant which ran around 37 deg. Saw 5-6 other boats and didn't see and nets.

I saw a guy catch a sucker at the mouth of the Black River yesterday afternoon. Talked to a few other guys around the WTP in PH usings noodles with minnows...4 hrs - zero hits. Got the same report from a guy using wall-rods on the north side of the plant. Fished MV for a couple hours and went 0/0. Didn't see a single boat on the river from PH to MC.

No wasent me, I was running some errands and stopped into the launch to see what was up at 830am and not one trailer in there.. It's still a tad cold for me and no scene in going out untill I can catch more then one or two, I figure other fisherman are feeling the same.. Cya Slick
