Guys I just wanted to let you all know of a product that is made right here in Michigan. The guy who manufactores this tool is one heck of a nice guy. He was my fabrication guy before my plant decided to close. He's now trying to spur michigan economy by laying it all on the line.

He definately believes in his product, it's worth taking a look at if you are into fishing at deep depths.

What it does is allow you to locate the fish, and go a troll a little further. You drop the anchor in freefall simply by pulling back on the handle. You can then slowly drift back over the spot, and lock the spindle in place by turning it a crank forward. Mission accomplished your spot on, on top of the fish.

It really is a very well made product. I admire the guy for having the balls to try this when the economy is in the pooper. The amazing thing is all he wants to do is sell enough product to employ a few more people.

Check out his website, www.anchorwizard.com (http://www.anchorwizard.com/)

You may think i'm promoting this product, but I have nothing at all to do with it. I just think it's a very good product and truly hope it kicks off so a few more of us sportsmen in Michigan can have a job.

Thanks for taking a look.

Looks like a good product, was thinking of something similar awhile back, but was going to put line through an enclosed tube (maybe conduit) and shape then secure to rail of boat. Would cut down on all the pulleys and wear spots.
