Headed for the wall tomorrow. Not sure how long I'll stay but I'll stop at a few places on the way home to do some casting too. A little recon never hurts.;):)

You going to be at the WTP or further north? Depending on how long i work tomorrow im thinking about heading down. Not draggin all the gear, couple rods and minnows.

Made two trips last week,mon.and thurs...saw one smelt with my flashlight.3 nets out.

A few nets out today when I left at 7 pm. Talked to a few guys through out the day.........not much happening yet. Water was extremely clear today with a few bits of ice coming down . Nice fishing with ya Don.;)

i have never dipped for smelt befor and i would love to try, just wondering if anyone could tell where i could go, i live downriver but i hear port huron is good but i dont know where i should try, any advice would be great, thank you very much

say you need help, forget the wall, and go north! like 300-400 miles north, lol :lol: :lol:
