I am heading up there tomorrow. My understanding is that the resivour is still drawn down. As soon as she is back at full pool the timber along the edges will be the place to be again.

I was out there day before yesterday and yes, the water is still down. I spent a little time at the Zimmer Rd spot trying with minnows and wax worms and nothing to report. The water is clear though.

I was on shore. There was one other guy fishing by the launch there, it looked like he was fishing for cats because the rods he had out had bells on the tips. I couldn't tell if he had anything or not.

Fished the damn a couple of weeks ago casting mister twisters from shore.I had one fish on and a couple of hits.Seen a couple of 8-9 pound walleye pulled out of there and a couple really nice cats...Never fished the lake side of the damn though.

I got two small channel cats on wollybuggers. Fish were in 1-2 FOW chasing minnows that were chasing some sort of sporadic midge hatch that came off, seemingly timed with the sun coming out from behind the clouds- or thats the only time the minnows and I could see the midges.:lol:
