Scorpion Cam and Lube

Can you tell me the proper way to use Scorpion Cam and Serving Lube. How to put on around the serving on the wheel and cam? Thanks

I put it on with my bow on the drawboard and just rub it in a bit with my fingers, not sure it's the proper way.... this just seems to get the lube where it needs to be better than putting it on with the bow at rest.
