I'm looking to get a multi-arrow fletcher probably a Jo-Jan. Just wondering if anybody out there does it and any pointers, glues or info anybody might have on arrow building. Thanks
Brian

Unless you are fletching for a living, or pro shop I don't see a need for it. A multi is about 100 us dollars and a bitz is about 70 us dollars. The fletching only takes maybe with one fletcher, a half hour or up to 1 hour. Most people are not that much in a rush and do a better job with only one. The bitz has set a standard and is top quality. I carry both but I sell more of the bitz!
Just my 2 scents!!

For a Joe Archer...a single bits is fine. The Jo-Jan is a decent jig...but pricey...especially if you order up clamps for doing helicals.

I have the Jo-Jan, works well for me, and has for years. Issues I see with it...takes up a good chunk of space, kind of a pain to set up (it comes in pcs and needs to be assemble, not that this part is the issue, making sure its square is.)

As far as glues...LOCTITE LIQUID GEL. I have used the regular and the ruberized...either works very well. A LOT CHEAPER than the archery specific glues too.

I use an arrow wrap and fletch tape. Then, just put a dab of Fletch-tite and each end of the fletch. Works great with feathers. Not sure if there is a problem with the plastic vanes sticking to the tape. Sure makes it quick to fletch with a single-clamp jig.

Thanks for the info so you guys think i should just go with a single rig rather than a multi. I've used a single before but I figured I might save some time with the single. I guess I thought that might work out because I go through arrows alot sometimes depending on the type of game I'm going after. or bad days at the 3D range...lol Anyway, Thanks for the input and I'll have to consider it.
