Im posting this for Paperboy. He went out of Jacks and went to the crack and got a limit of nice Gills. They again werent slobs but they will be great eating. Hopefully me and Paper will be out thursday. Ill post if we have one more trip.

Thought maybe that was a prediction for tomarrow.:lol: How thick is the ice still and is it getting soft? Thanks.

I see Ralph can't spell either. ;) The ice problem at Fletch is the shore ice!! I went out of Jack's just because that was the best ice to get on with a quad. The surface ice is like shaved ice for a mixed drink and feels like you are walking in sand. The ice itself is still anywhere from 12-18 inches and starting to get bubbles in it. Not really honeycombed yet. I got around on my quad pretty easy. NO TRUCKS!!! :dizzy::evil: Can't Fix Stupid!

I caught over 100 fish Wednesday and kept my 25. I had 1 perch I know would have been close to 12", but of course lost her at the hole!!:one_eye:Duh!
Fished along the pressure crack about 1 mile out. No need for an auger. The ice looks like Swiss cheese!!

Heading back today for one last ice trip! The weather this next week will destroy the ice that is left. Time to put the boat in and go get the walleye and browns!!!
