Anyone out there shot, or shoot a Trap Door Rest? Lookin' to slap one on my Black Eagle but would like some opinions first. These rests don't have a string on them so I'm curious on how they shoot in cold weather. If they have any false starts on the arrow. I mean , if your arrow creeps forward on your draw does the rest drop before you come to full draw. And if so, what if you draw on a deer and have to let down. Do you have to rest the rest?

If anyone has any advise out there I'd appreciate it!:)

Re-set the rest. That's what I meant. Sorry!

I tried one once and know a few guys that use them..
They are a very good rest but IMO its not a hunting rest..I have seen the rest fall when the shooter is drawing back..Mostly when one gets a little tired and has problems getting over the hump..Being and full draw without my rest up is the last thing I would want to happen when the buck fevers pumping..
