Was out on Lake Lancer yesterday. Ice was 17" thick, the top three inches were the chunky white stuff. 50 degrees and sunny was a nice change this season. Setup on the main lake in 12 fow with tip-ups, nothing. Moved to a point in 12 fow and set back up, nothing. Finally tried my bay on the way back in, 6 fow, and caught this beauty. Ended up making the trip. No idea on the measurements but its the biggest largemouth I have ever seen come out of that lake in the 4 years I have been on it. Put the tip-up back down and had another strike within three minutes, ended up losing about a 12" perch at the whole. Nothing for the rest of the day. Turned out to be a pretty good year!
