Plan on chasing skis around LSC this year. 1st timer for skis so I would like some info on patterns. I've made a few firetiger streamers, articulated with rabbit fur that are about 8 in. long. It is similar to rays salmon snake. I have some big deceivers that I use in the salt, will these be a good choice? I have been gather materials to build Esox's rattlin flash fly as well. Anyone have any others???

As for the fishing part...I am guessing that a 2 handed fast retrieve would be preffered? Or would something like a strip/jerk like brownie fishing the rivers? I am sure lots of things work...what works for you?

Thanks
John

I recently decided I prefer synthetic materials because they don't soak up water and get heavy, and they tend to retain their bulk better when wet. I think I have a few older pics in my gallery, and I will get more this weekend if needed. It's time to pull out the monster streamers for ice out pike. Sunday look good.:)
