Canal Fishin 12/7

Fished today in back of my friends house in chesterfield twp. Ice was about 3 inches thick and we started at 8 am. Kept 18 nice gills and 2 perch about 8 in. Threw back many small ones and caught ALOT of shad, biggest around 10 inches. Will be back out sometime during the week. Good luck guys and be safe!

My prayers go out to you and yer family at the loss of yer Grandpa. Grandpa's are great! My Gramps took me fishin
for the first time in my life when I was 3yrs old. We caught
2 Big Gills outa Houghton Lake. I've been fishing ever since!
Hmm come to think of it my catch hasn't changed much either!

thanks guys, without good people and their encouragement, times of loss could be even tougher. i loved goin fishin with my grandpa and still do, but now he's in a picture frame sittin on the ice with me. the outdoors are a great place to sit down and reflect of good times of your family and friends. thanks again fellas!:)
