Got to be crazy. I wouldn't risk my 10 year old truck. I want a way to get home. Do trucks need ORV stickers?

up2it,
is big creek at northend out of state park or south off the west dnr launch that others speak of. I've never been there b4. Will you be fishing tonight then or not until morning. I'm a little leary about being out after dark since this my first time.

Big creek is north of the west DNR launch about .5 to .75 mile. If you drive north .5 mile to Kenmore rd its a shorter walk. Less than a .25 mile. You can park on the roadside.

Lots of clear hard ice, trucks all over the lake, access is fine, Little snow, no slush.
As of 1 hour ago ice conditions are perfect..... At 11 am smelt were in, bite was slow but steady. Trout were'nt cooperating

Just got back from higgins-drove all over the west and north part of the lake. Plenty of ice and the trout were not cooperating with us either
