well, the 4 of us went to caseville and fished from 2 til 5. The ice in the harbor, were we fished, had a little snow/slush/water from snow melt, but nothing bad. there was about 2-5 inches of ice with 3 1/2 being the avarage.

I caught 13 perch, but none were bigger then 7 inches.

My brother caught 7 perch, all under 7 inches.

his buddy caught 2 perch, both under 7 inches.

My dad caught 14 perch, 3 over 7 inches, and also a 9 inch walleye.

So, we caught a total of 36 perch and 1 walleye and only 3 would have been keepers, we tossed the bigger 3 back as 3 isn't enough to keep. The perch bit waxworm/teardrop/bobber best early, then more jack hooks or minnow/teardrop/bobber did the trick before dark, but more fish were biting early on. The few others that were fishing caught a few bigger ones and alot of small ones.

Not the best of days by far, but at least we caught something.
