Stoney creek is a go!!!

Just got back from Stoney. 4" of nice solid ice. Met Flyfisher there. Ice is just fine for travel. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!!

I was just there, too; Saturday 12/07/02 about 1:30 pm. I saw one icefisherman, period. He was VERY close to shore. There were two guys fishing open water at the dam race. Where was everybody?:confused:

JNPCook and I were on the Little lake today. There was anywhere from 2-4" (Some places looked less). A lot of that little lake looked a little shaky. Some spots took 3-4 spuds to get through, than about 10 yards away, it took 1.
Both of us didnt venture far (both had pfd's and ice picks), and the fishing sucked to boot. Together, we caught 1 little bluegill (good job, John :) )

Thanks Mickey. At least we didn't get skunked :D That little fish must have worn me out as I went home and took a nap most of the afternoon.

At least it was better than writing a paper? :p

Seriously though, if anyone ventures out there in the next few days, take a spud and check every step of the way.

Ha Ha. Writing papers is fun. I love it. In fact, I wish my professor made this one TWICE as long and involved.
