cAUGHT 1-2" GILL not biting at all. 4" of crystal clear ice.

hit a few lakes this morn. good ice around channels and shallows. not much to speak of though. need another week of 10 deg. will try again first part of week. pike rule. careful

Sounds like there's decent ice on Emerson, Hutchons, Swan and Minkler around here and even heard of a quad on Gun but it doesn't sound like the Gills are cooperating with the early ice around here. Ido have a buddy who had flags all day today, mostly Bass. Good luck and be careful. Leave the augers at home and take a spud.

FLAGS! Must be nice. Not a run all day here. Brought home 26 gills and 3 slab crappies. Not a bad day in all. I shure wish we'd get a little snow on the lakes. It's treacherous out there.
